The Engineered Solutions Tier 2 Program from PSE&G provides incentives and customized solutions for your energy efficiency upgrades.
Upgrading outdated equipment is a great way to begin saving money and reducing energy use for your business. From water heaters and HVAC systems to lighting, the Engineered Solutions Tier 2 Program offers incentives for the purchase and installation of many types of energy-efficient equipment. All qualifying equipment is eligible for interest-free, on-bill repayment for the cost not covered by incentives, so you can enjoy the benefits of an efficient facility today while repaying your project cost over time.
Complete an online application to take advantage of financial incentives on installed, energy-efficient equipment and solutions.
1. Find a Trade Ally and complete an online application: Once the scope of work is finalized for your project, you or your Trade Ally can submit an incentive application. The project will be reviewed for eligibility by our implementation contractor, Tri-State Energy (TSE) (psegcustom@email.tsle.com).
The process includes a pre-install review, which may require a site visit where measurements and supporting data may be collected. Data collected during the inspection will be used to determine eligibility.
2. Measure review and project implementation: Once a review is complete and your project is approved, total incentive funds will be reserved and an initial split disbursement will be made. If you and the Trade Ally are unable to complete the project within a prescribed time frame, you may apply for an extension. If your project needs additional time, a second extension may be granted, subject to PSE&G approval.
3. Proof of completion and final project review: After the project is complete, a final invoice that shows the material and labor cost breakdown is submitted. A post-project inspection, which could include additional measurements and data collection, may be required.
4. Receive your incentive: A closeout incentive check will be mailed once all reviews of submitted applications and required inspections have been finalized and approved.

Our network of independent service providers, in coordination with a robust network of Trade Allies, will work directly with businesses to maximize energy efficiency. Customers who prefer to choose their own contractor can still receive program rebates if the contractor meets eligibility requirements.
