• Increase IT hardware utilization and consider upgrades like solid-state drives and low-thermal design power (TDP) processors to improve performance per watt and reduce energy use.
• Adopt advanced cooling solutions, such as liquid cooling, in-row cooling, and rear-door heat exchangers, to reduce energy use.
• Invest in capital upgrades to major systems, such as CRACs, CRAHs, chillers, cooling towers, and pumps, to significantly increase efficiency.
• Make general building improvements across your facility. Upgrades to lighting, water heaters, insulation, and other core systems help maximize efficiency and savings potential.
• Improve HVAC performance by upgrading units and pairing them with dual enthalpy air-side economizers.
